We are almost there!

The Marine Jobs Bill has been reported favorably out of the House Ways and Means Committee putting us one big step closer to final passage. All of our efforts are paying off but we are now at a critical point in the process and need your immediate help to keep up the momentum! 

It is urgent that all TMIC members and Texas Marine Industry supporters call the Legislative Members of the House Calendars Committee requesting that HB 4032 be set on the House Calendar! 

Points to hit on the call or follow the example below:

·     Supports job growth and preservation in the Marine Industry

·     Helps recover economies after Hurricane Harvey

·     Strongly request the HB4032 is set on the House Calendar

Example: "Hello, My name is…, and I am calling to encourage you to set HB 4032 on the House Calendar. HB 4032 will provide job growth, job preservation and a significant increase in economic activity for the Texas Marine industry and our communities. This is help we desperately need as we continue the recovery from Hurricane Harvey. I hope you will support the marine industry and move HB 4032 to the full House. Thank you for the opportunity to be heard.”
